Perasaan lepas bagi tadi - bercampur baur. Happy and sad.
I am feeling happy because I am finally going home soon and at the same time I am feeling sad.

If I Stay by Gayle Forman
“Life might take you down different roads. But each of you gets to decide which one to take.”

“It's ok if you want to stop fighting.”

“In a way they have never left me. And that's just it, isn't it? That's how we manage to survive loss. Because love, it never dies, it never goes away, it never fades, so long as you hang on to it. Love can make you immortal.”

“This is the you I like. But the you who you are tonight is the same you I was in love with yesterday, the same you I'll be in love with tomorrow”

Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern

“You deserve someone who loves you with every single beat of his heart, someone who thinks about you constantly, someone who spends every minute of every day just wondering what you’re doing, where you are, who you’re with, and if you’re OK. You need someone who can help you reach your dreams and protect you from your fears. You need someone who will treat you with respect, love every part of you, especially your flaws. You should be with someone who could make you happy, really happy, dancing on air happy.”

“To the most inconsiderate asshole of a friend,
I’m writing you this letter because I know that if I say what I have to say
to your face I will probably punch you.
I don’t know you anymore.
I don’t see you anymore.
All I get is a quick text or a rushed e-mail from you every few days. I
know you are busy and I know you have Bethany, but hello? I’m supposed to
be your best friend.
You have no idea what this summer has been like. Ever since we were
kids we pushed away every single person that could possibly have been our
friend. We blocked people until there was only me and you. You probably
haven’t noticed, because you have never been in the position I am in now.
You have always had someone. You always had me. I always had you. Now
you have Bethany and I have no one.
Now I feel like those other people that used to try to become our friend,
that tried to push their way into our circle but were met by turned backs. I
know you’re probably not doing it deliberately just as we never did it deliberately.
It’s not that we didn’t want anyone else, it’s just that we didn’t need
them. Sadly now it looks like you don’t need me anymore.
Anyway I’m not moaning on about how much I hate her, I’m just trying
to tell you that I miss you. And that well . . . I’m lonely.
Whenever you cancel nights out I end up staying home with Mum and
Dad watching TV. It’s so depressing. This was supposed to be our summer
of fun. What happened? Can’t you be friends with two people at once?
I know you have found someone who is extra special, and I know you
both have a special “bond,” or whatever, that you and I will never have. But
we have another bond, we’re best friends. Or does the best friend bond disappear
as soon as you meet somebody else? Maybe it does, maybe I just
don’t understand that because I haven’t met that “somebody special.” I’m
not in any hurry to, either. I liked things the way they were.
So maybe Bethany is now your best friend and I have been relegated to
just being your “friend.” At least be that to me, Alex. In a few years time if
my name ever comes up you will probably say, “Rosie, now there’s a name I
haven’t heard in years. We used to be best friends. I wonder what she’s doingnow; I haven’t seen or thought of her in years!” You will sound like my mum
and dad when they have dinner parties with friends and talk about old times.
They always mention people I’ve never even heard of when they’re talking
about some of the most important days of their lives. Yet where are those
people now? How could someone who was your bridesmaid 20 years ago not
even be someone who you are on talking terms with now? Or in Dad’s case,
how could he not know where his own best friend from college lives? He
studied with the man for five years!
Anyway, my point is (I know, I know, there is one), I don’t want to be
one of those easily forgotten people, so important at the time, so special, so
influential, and so treasured, yet years later just a vague face and a distant
memory. I want us to be best friends forever, Alex.
I’m happy you’re happy, really I am, but I feel like I’ve been left behind.
Maybe our time has come and gone. Maybe your time is now meant to be
spent with Bethany. And if that’s the case I won’t bother sending you this letter.
And if I’m not sending this letter then what am I doing still writing it?
OK I’m going now and I’m ripping these muddled thoughts up.
Your friend,
Rosie”

“I wake up in the morning and I feel like I’m missing something. I know
that there’s something not right, and it takes me a while to remember what it
is . . . then I remember. My best friend is gone. My only friend. It was silly of
me to rely so much on one person.”

Quotes by Mitch Albom
“When someone is in your heart, they're never truly gone. They can come back to you, even at unlikely times.”
― Mitch Albom, For One More Day

“Have you ever lost someone you love and wanted one more conversation, one more chance to make up for the time when you thought they would be here forever? If so, then you know you can go your whole life collecting days, and none will outweigh the one you wish you had back.”
― Mitch Albom, For One More Day

“I like myself better when I'm with you.”
― Mitch Albom, Tuesdays with Morrie

“Try to imagine a life without timekeeping. You probably can’t. You know the month, the year, the day of the week. There is a clock on your wall or the dashboard of your car. You have a schedule, a calendar, a time for dinner or a movie. Yet all around you, timekeeping is ignored. Birds are not late. A dog does not check its watch. Deer do not fret over passing birthdays. an alone measures time. Man alone chimes the hour. And, because of this, man alone suffers a paralyzing fear that no other creature endures. A fear of time running out.”
― Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper

“It is never too late or too soon. It is when it is supposed to be.”
― Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper

“This is the greatest gift God can give you: to understand what happened in your life. To have it explained. It is the peace you have been searching for.”
― Mitch Albom, The Five People You Meet in Heaven

“We all yearn for what we have lost. But sometimes, we forget what we have.”
― Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper

“There is a reason God limits our days.'
'Why?'
'To make each one precious.”
― Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper

“When you are measuring life, you are not living it.”
― Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper

“I made such a fool of myself,” she lamented.
“Love does not make you a fool.”
“He didn’t love me back.”
“That does not make you a fool, either.”
“Just tell me …” Her voice cracked. “When does it stop hurting?”
“Sometimes never.”
― Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper

“But they wanted you. Time is not something you give back. The very next moment may be answer to your prayer. To deny that is to deny the most important part of the future.”
― Mitch Albom, The Time Keeper

“But fates are connected in ways we don’t understand.”

Interstellar Movie Quotes
We've always defined ourselves by the ability to overcome the impossible. And we count these moments. These moments when we dare to aim higher, to break barriers, to reach for the stars, to make the unknown known. We count these moments as our proudest achievements. But we lost all that. Or perhaps we've just forgotten that we are still pioneers. And we've barely begun. And that our greatest accomplishments cannot be behind us, because our destiny lies above us. - Cooper

We used to look up at the sky and wonder at our place in the stars, now we just look down and worry about our place in the dirt. - Cooper

Finally, Saturday is here..
Which means, 9 days to go til i go back to hometown for Christmas.
Still working on the 22nd and i bought night flight tix. Can't wait to smell the fresh air of Kuching!

What else...?
I hope time flies by so fast til 1pm today. No plan after work tho, just stay at home and read all the books I bought from Big Bad Wolf.
Talking about Big Bad Wolf, there is one book I am dying to buy.. The Timekeeper! I saw and already touched the book when I was in BBW and thought that hmmm...no need...
But then when i reached home, and read the synopsis again, I felt regret. Bbbbrrrr...
Nawwww..who wants to buy for me? or bring me there? Right now i just wish that BBW is in KL.
Serdang is too far for me. Pfffttt..
I mean..I don't mind using KTM, but from KTM Serdang, i need to pay RM10 for taxi to bring me to MIECC, The Mines.. Which is not worth it for me because the place is just 5-10 mins by taxi from KTM Serdang. And yesssss...the taxi drivers there don't use meter!! Wth.. You have to buy RM10 taxi coupon and sometimes you have to share the taxi with other passengers (read:strangers) too!

Btw, I am thinking to buy Christina Perri's tix live in KL next March. Who wanna join me?

Toodles.

Finally it's Friday!! Yay!
Which means....I will have a date with Kak Lynn! And we are planning to go to Big Bad Wolf!!
I never been to Big Bad Wolf event before and this year, I really must go! Hahhh!!!

It's a book title anyway..
I started to read it at around 11pm something last night until almost 2am. Gahhh!!
I was so sleepy at 12 but then the book is too addictive. But I stopped reading it before 2am anyway.
Continued to read it again this morning in the bus and have to stop again when the bus almost reached my destination.
Now i have that itchy feeling to grab the book in my bag and read it.
Hah! Have i told u the book is soo addictive??

I love scones! Since I reached home quite early yesterday, so i baked some scones for my breakfast today.

Never thought that making scones is super easy and not messy! The ingredients are not that much too and very easy to find. Lucky me..i have all the ingredients at home. :)

So, here I wanted to share my scones recipe taken from a recipe booklet!~

Since it was my first time making scones, so I just follow the recipe given. First time buat tak boleh derhaka ye kawan kawan. Haha.

Ok..here's the recipe!

**Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celcius

Ingredients:

• 225g self raising flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• pinch of salt
• 25g caster sugar
• 50g unsalted butter, softened (but I melted it)
• 150ml milk
• 1 egg, beaten

Methods:

1. Grease the baking tray with a little butter. Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl. Stir in the sugar.
2. Add the butter and rub it into the flour mixture until it resembles fine breadcrumbs.
3. Add the milk, a little at a time, until it becomes a smooth dough
4. Lightly flour the work surface and then roll out the dough until it is about 2 cm thick.
5. Use the pastry cutter to cut the dough into round scones. Re-roll any dough that is left over and cut out more scones. Place onto the baking tray.
6. Brush the tops of the scones with the beaten egg. Place in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Serve with clotted cream and jam.

I am craving for salmon. I hope I am not lazy today to go to jusco to buy 1 slice of salmon for myself.
