Recipe: Marble Banana Cake Loaf
12:01:00 PMOla!
Yesterday I took MC. As i mentioned in my previous post, I was (and still) having fever, flu and cough.
Oh well, I know you will expect me to lay down and sleep for whole day at home. Well, not for me. Hahaha.
So, before I went to clinic yesterday, i searched for any cake recipes i should try. And then..TINGGG! Banana cake! Because I love banana cake.
There are lots of banana cake recipes on the internet, so i picked the banana cake recipes from the famous Jamie Oliver's website but I did some changes in the recipe.
It was so fluffy, tasted nice and smells good! Yummeh!
Ingredients:
175 g margarine
175 g self-raising flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
175 g caster sugar
Pumpkin seeds
2 large free-range eggs
1 1/2 ripe bananas, mashed
2 teaspoon choco emulco
Methods:
1. Pre heat the oven to 180 degrees celcius
2. Beat caster sugar and melted butter until fluffy.
3. Beat in the egg, one at a time
4. Beat in mashed banana.
5. Beat in self-raising flour, and ground cinnamon.
6. Beat in pumpkin seeds until just combined.
7. Divide the batter into 2 portions.
8. Stir the choco emulco into one portion and mix well.
9. Spoon large blobs of each cake mixture into the loaf pan, alternating the flavours to give a marble effect.
10. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Very easy recipe.. Why not give it a try. ;)
