Recipe: Vanilla Cupcake with Raisin
12:49:00 PMI baked vanilla cupcake last Saturday and it turned out soft and moist.
And the smell is too good too! ;)

Try out this simple recipe! :
Vanilla Cupcake with Raisin (for 15 cupcakes)
Ingredients:
- Self-raising flour (200gm)
- Butter (200gm) - melt
- Caster sugar (200gm)
- 4 eggs
- 1 tea spoon Vanilla essence
- Raisins
- 4 table spoon milk
- 1 table spoon horlicks (optional)
- 1 table spoon nestum (optional)
Directions:
- Pre-heat the oven 200 degrees
- Whisk the self-raising flour, horlicks, and nestum in a bowl.
- Beat butter and caster sugar until fluffy.
- Beat in the egg, one at a time.
- Beat in the vanilla essence.
- Beat in half of the self-raising flour, horlicks and nestum mixture, then the milk, then the remaining flour mixture.
- Beat in raisins until just combined. (See the picture)
- Divide the batter among the cake cups, filling each three-quarters full. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
The original recipe is actually without horlicks, nestum and raisins. :P
I am gonna try to replace the caster sugar with brown sugar after this.
